Blugold Radio (Sundays 5:05-6 p.m.) with Rachel Vick will feature an interview with a member of the UW-Eau Claire chapter of Alpha Xi Delta, a segment with special reporter Raina Beutel, and an installment of the ongoing segment with former host Jessica Sharpee.
Sarah Koenekamp, a member of the sorority Alpha Xi Delta, will talk about the life of a sorority sister. Beutel will continue her field reporting. Sharpee will share some of her experiences from her study abroad program in Winchester, England.
Local Independence (Sundays 6-8 p.m.) with Rachel Minske will feature an interview with jazz musician Mike Malone. Malone will be performing at the Back Stage Concert Series, held at Eau Claire’s historic State Theatre, in April.
Martha Landry will be reporting on the opening of the new Foster Gallery art exhibit.
Reporters at WUEC News (Sundays 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m.) will be covering local news in the Eau Claire area, including UW-Eau Claire Black History Month events, the UW-Eau Claire nursing immersion program with immigrant farmworkers, and the upcoming performance of “The Vagina Monologues” at UW-Eau Claire.
Hannah Weikel will be covering the upcoming performance of “The Vagina Monologues,” a production dealing with women’s thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Weikel will focus on the importance of having events such as “The Vagina Monologues” and how, regardless of gender, anyone can get involved.
Shelli Adamczyk will report on the Health Care for Immigrant and Local Farmers Clinical Immersion program at UW-Eau Claire. Adamczyk will discuss the students’ and farmworkers’ perspectives and experiences with the program.
Tiffany Coggins will be continuing a three-part Black History Month story. This week she will focus on the student panel “Multicultural Student Perceptions.”
