CDC is an outlet for students who love dance

Posted on Updated on

Concert Dance Company gives UW-Eau Claire students who love dance the opportunity to perform and choreograph, whether or not they are dance minors.

“It’s something out of the week that I don’t have to dread or worry about,” said company president Madeline Bires.

Public relations officer Breanna Cook added, “When you’re dancing, it’s kind of like nothing else matters in the world.”

Concert Dance Company performs a wide variety of styles of dance. Some of the styles featured in this year’s shows were hip hop, tap, modern, and contemporary.

Open auditions are held each year in late September. Students who are interested in auditioning should find the Concert Dance Company booth at next fall’s Blugold Organizations Bash (BOB).
