Programming for March 3

Blugold Radio with Rachel Vick will feature an interview with Dr. April Bleske-Rechek, an associate professor of psychology at UW-Eau Claire, a segment with special reporter Raina Beutel, and an installment of the ongoing segment with former host Jessica Sharpee.

Bleske-Rechek will talk about her recent study on cross-sex friendships. Beutel will continue her field reporting. Sharpee will share some of her experiences from her study abroad program in Winchester, England.

Local Independence (Sundays 6-8 p.m.) with Rachel Minske will host interviews with Milwaukee-based folkadelic band The Thriftones, as well as local singer and songwriter Phil Circle.

Reporters at WUEC News (Sundays 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m.) will be covering local news in the Eau Claire area, including UW-Eau Claire’s Black History Month events, the art of tome poems, and UW-Eau Claire’s Learning and Technology Services (LTS).

Tiffany Coggins will be continuing a three-part Black History Month story. This week she will focus on the panel “Multicultural Student Perceptions” and report on “Tome Poem,” which is the art of poetry and prose set to music.

Shelli Adamczyk will report on LTS’s efforts for printing on the UW-Eau Claire campus to be more mobile and accessible from a phone or laptop.
