Programming for May 12

EAU CLAIRE, Wis., May 8, 2013

Blugold Radio with Rachel Vick will feature interviews with next year’s incoming producers and a segment with special reporter Raina Beutel.

Vick will interview Elliott Etzkorn, James Pfitzinger, and Kelsie McMahon, next year’s producers at WUEC. Beutel will continue her field reporting. For her last show, Vick will also offer reflections on her year as a producer for Blugold Radio.

Local Independence with Rachel Minske will host an interview with Volume One Magazine to discuss the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series and its impact on Eau Claire and the music community.

Martha Landry will take a look at UW-Eau Claire’s upcoming Spring Short Play Festival. The festival, presented by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts, is slated for May 9 to 11 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Kjer Theatre.

Reporters at WUEC News will be covering local news in the Eau Claire area and at UW-Eau Claire.

Glen Olson will report on the Farmers to Workers program.

Tiffany Coggins will report on Volume One’s Bike to Work Week Kick Off Event, which will include snacks, coffee, local celebrities, and bikes on display. The event will be held Tuesday at The Local Store.

Shelli Adamczyk will discuss World Belly Dance Day in Eau Claire. This is Eau Claire’s fourth year celebrating this international event.

Hannah Weikel will report on Delivery Fix, which offers delivery service from over 100 local restaurants and stores that do not normally deliver to customers.
