WUEC 89.7 FM PROGRAMMING FOR MAY 11
EAU CLAIRE, Wis., May 6–– Blugold Radio airs this Sunday with their last show of the semester!
In the first hour for Blugold Radio, Jessica Sharpee will be interviewing one of UW-Eau Claire’s awesome student organizations.
While Chi Ab Vang will be discussing current news related stories in the Eau Claire area.
Reporters Zhen Wei Yap, Kayty Brick, and Glen Olson will also finish up their news stories for the year.
During the second hour of Blugold Radio (Sundays 5-8 pm), Raina Beutel will be talking to UWEC students for her segment “Raina at Large.” She will talking to seniors about their current summer or post-grad plans.
Rachel Minske will be speaking with a member of the Eau Claire community or campus about current exciting research they’ve been working on.
And Breana Lyga will be interviewing local Eau Claire coffee lounge Racy’s (Racy D’lene’s). Racy’s is located on 404 Riverside Avenue. Hour three will include an entertainment segment by Kelsie McMahon who will be focusing on one of the exciting acts coming to Eau Claire within the next week or two.
Chelsea Emory will be playing music tracks and traditional USA songs.
And during every hour, Tyler Henderson will be giving the latest updates on local sports. While Leah Engebretson will be playing music from popular band Paramore. Paramore is an American rock trio from Franklin, Tennessee that first came around in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis, and guitarist Taylor York. Their debut album All We Know Is Falling was released in 2005 and their second album Riot! came out in 2007. Brand New Eyes, their third album was released in 2009 and is the band’s second-highest charting album to date. Their latest 2013 release self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in the United States as well as in other countries around the world. Their latest single “Ain’t it Fun” was released in February 4, 2014 and became their highest charting single in the U.S.
